Natalie has over 20 years experience in the medical field. Her journey began right out of high school when she explored avenues centered in the dental field. Starting as a sterilization tech, moving into patient care as a Certified Dental Assistant and cross trained in front office administration, she found her passion to work one-on-one with patients.
Concerned with her mother’s health, Natalie began to look outside the dental field for something that would both honor her passion and bring her mother comfort. Natalie chose to pursue a career as a massage therapist and in 2005 became a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Florida. Specializing in pain management, Natalie received additional certifications in deep tissue massage, medical massage, and trigger point therapy. As she continued to look for ways to assist those who struggle with chronic pain she quickly recognized a link between chronic pain and emotional disorders so she began to integrate mind body techniques such as BodyTalk and Reiki.
In January of 2006, Natalie began to work part time as a massage therapist in an Acupuncture office and by June of that same year she enrolled full time at Florida College of Integrative Medicine completing the program in June of 2010 with a Bachelors Degree of Professional Health Studies and a Master’s Degree of Oriental Medicine. In April of 2010, Natalie founded Influenced by Touch, Inc and began planning her future in private practice.
Before 2010 ended Natalie found herself back in school seeking more knowledge, but this time her focus was directed toward Business Management and Medical Office Administration. Both are essential components necessary in providing sound framework for a successful medical practice.
With the structure in place, Natalie opened her first brick and mortar location in 2012, providing Acupuncture, Massage, Auricular Medicine, Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine, and Acupuncture Injection Therapy.
Natalie’s treating style is simple and effective. Her gentle techniques and positive bedside manor provide a safe healing environment for her patients. Her specialties include pain management, emotional disorders such as stress, anxiety and depression, and women’s health issues including headaches, fatigue, PMS, fertility, pregnancy, and menopause.
Natalie continues to demonstrate her dedication to this medicine with her ongoing studies and exploration in health sciences. She has a strong commitment to the care of her patients, working with each of them to identify and achieve their health goals, while maintaining optimal balance to become the healthiest version of themselves.
